Senior Policy Advisor Sam Kass Joins Celebs On "Sexy Chefs Of Television" List

America's most powerful chef has plenty of fans on the other side of the  globe...
The charms of White House assistant chef/Senior Policy Advisor for Healthy Food Initiatives Sam Kass have an international reach: He's on a new list of culinary hotties from The Times of India, "Sexy Chefs of Television." Kass is named alongside "favorite celebrity chefs" Tony Bourdain, Padma Lakshmi, Nigella Lawson, Curtis Stone and other good-looking folks who The Times says are capable of seducing viewers "with the way they flirt with food." (Above: Kass takes a break from flirting with some White House turnips during a Kitchen Garden harvest)

Though Kass does not have his own TV show, he made the list because he's had plenty of screentime for the Let's Move! campaign, The Times said.

"
In her bid to stop childhood obesity, [Michelle] Obama has sought the help of this charming chef who could just as easily have modeled for H & M!" The Times gushes.

Since arriving at the White House in 2009 with the Obamas, Kass has appeared on Top Chef; Chopped; Today show, Good Morning America, Iron Chef America; the Rachael Ray Show; and The Nate Berkus Show, as well as loads of network news/feature segments. The US press has long been aware of Kass' good looks: In 2009, he was named to People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People list.
