Hula hooping, potato sack race, dodge ball: "Michelle Obama is the coolest," Fallon says...

"I'm pretty much willing to make a complete fool out of myself to get our kids moving," First Lady Michelle Obama said when she keynoted an obesity conference last November. Late Night host Jimmy Fallon took Mrs. Obama at her word when he visited the White House last week to film an hilarious Let's Move! Fitness Challenge. "That part about making a fool of herself--I connected with that," Fallon told his studio audience on Tuesday as he debuted the video. "Because I make a fool of myself every night."
No spoiling the ending, but Mrs. Obama and Fallon race on the stairs, hula hoop, do a tug of war, play dodge ball, and do pushups in the East Room and the Diplomatic Reception Room. First Dog Bo also makes a cameo.
"He loved me," Fallon said.
"She was so cool. Michelle Obama is the coolest," Fallon told the cheering studio audience when the segment finished. He encouraged viewers to check out LetsMove.gov.
Mrs. Obama also did a fitness challenge during an appearance last week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show; DeGeneres lost a push-up contest to the First Lady, who did 25 push-ups to the host's 14.
There was even more TV last week: Mrs. Obama made her debut as First Lady on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and got Leno to dine on a buffet of healthy fare. On the Rachael Ray show, Mrs. Obama discussed healthy school lunches and the Super Bowl. (Above: Hula hooping in the Diplomatic Reception Room)
The First Lady begins the national tour for the second anniversary of the Let's Move! campaign on Thursday.
