First Lady Michelle Obama turns 48 today. OFA aides are making bets on who will get more signatures for campaign-sponsored birthday cards: Mrs. Obama or President Obama. "This fall, Michelle and I will have been married 20 years," the President wrote in an e-mail last week urging supporters to sign his wife's card. "The next 10 months will be harder than any we've experienced together, and I couldn't do it without her. I know she'd love to hear from you today."
Update: President Obama hosted a dinner party for Mrs. Obama at DC's BLT Steak restaurant on Tuesday evening.
The President celebrated his 50th birthday with a big private White House party on August 4th, 2011. Daughter Malia turned 13 on July 4th, 2011. Daughter Sasha turned ten on June 10, 2011, and celebrated with a party at Georgetown Cupcake.
