When
President Obama and
First Lady Obama hosted their annual
Hanukkah Reception last week, the White House kitchen was koshered under the supervision of
Rabbi Levi Shemtov of the Lubavitch Center of Washington. Check out
this feature story on how the koshering was rapidly accomplished, published in
The New York Times. This year's Hanukkah reception is the last before the 2012 election, and with more than 550 guests, it was the largest the Obamas have hosted.
