White House Holiday Photo Of The Day

Ribbon & Bos in holiday decor...
First Lady Michelle Obama's holiday decor theme is "Shine, Give, Share," to honor military families. Ornaments and statues of First Dog Bo, whom Mrs. Obama calls "the most famous member of the Obama family," are featured throughout the White House. Above, a two-inch tall Bo ornament hangs on a Christmas tree in the Vermeil Room. The fluffy First Dog also stars in the White House Gingerbread House and he's one of the highly popular holiday cookies.

The tiny Bo ornament hangs on one of two Christmas trees in the Vermeil Room that flank a portrait of First Lady Jackie Kennedy. This year, there are thirty live Christmas trees and seven trees made of other materials that fill the White House.
