Easter Egg Roll Special Delivery

As the 2012 Easter Egg Roll began, Assistant Pastry Chef Susie Morrison carried a KitchenAid mixer down to the Kids Kitchen located in the "Play with Your Food" activity area at the bottom of the South Lawn, beside First Lady Obama's Kitchen Garden.

Eight celebrity chefs joined the White House chefs in demo'ing healthy recipes. Mrs. Obama dropped by to cook shrimp and vegetable tacos with NY restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson, chef/owner of Red Rooster Harlem, and Today show's Al Roker.

"Off to cook!" Morrison said as she hurried past with the heavy mixer.
