This year's theme is “Let's Go! Let's Play! Let's Move!"...
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will welcome more than 35,000 guests for the the 2012 White House Easter Egg Roll on April 9, about 5,000 more people than last year, according to the White House. The theme, announced today, is “Let's Go! Let's Play! Let's Move!" It will be the largest Egg Roll since the tradition started in 1878. The most famous Obama, First Dog Bo, wearing pink bunny ears, stars in a new video released today, announcing that the online ticket lottery opens at 10:00 AM ET. Bo joined the First Family in greeting guests at last year's event, minus the bunny ears.

The Egg Roll activities "will help educate families on smart ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise choices into their daily routines, which are key pillars of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative," the White House said. There will be cooking demonstrations, costumed characters, sports courts, and musical performances as well as arts n' crafts stations and games.
